Origin Story

VSP was started after a group of friends realized that the security industry was lacking in companies that were able to offer amazing customer service to their clients while also treating their own employees like family. The mission of our company is to provide excellent, personalized service to every client, while mentoring our employees to embody professionalism, integrity, and respect. Our management team accomplishes this mission by combining several decades of relative experience; a competitive, selective hiring process, and excellent training programs.

Our Owner

Josiah Bushong decided in 2019 that he wanted to pursue a career in the private security industry, with the goal of building his own company from scratch. He has experience in numerous types of security and security management, with his personal favorite being vehicle patrols. He has held security licenses in nearly 10 different cities across multiple states and spent several years supervising security teams based in most major cities in Missouri. Josiah resides outside of Kansas City, MO with his wife and three kids.
